The entire conversation is explanatory and easy,because consider and take time to check out what both of them means,signify and implies.They're completely different entities and they vary in every aspect.But since they both involves money,you could literally go for the both options.I guess it's quite okay to try new things and implement other financial updates.

One is a necessity in life which you can even debate about it, investment has it own risk but when their is a proper knowledge about an investment it is always productive at the end. Investment is what one can always look up to when it is productive.

Gambling is a game which it is being played for fun, so I'd say we need it but I don't think it is something that one needs to depend on because it is unpredictable. Gamble us not certain so I don't see why one would want to choose it, we just need gamble to get entertained because it is not what you can depend on as investment or source of income.
