Liverpool have the advantage in this match, they have the squad depth to rotate players effectively and maintain their competitiveness. Manchester City players complained about the number of games they have to play because of the new Champions League format. I think the players are not ready mentally and physically for the busy calendar, it’s no surprise that they are fatigue and are sustaining injuries. I think the number of fixtures should be reduced from next season so the players w can be fit and maintain the quality of the game.

I think Liverpool will easily lose to Manchester City. Another bad game is expected for Pep Guardiola. They played Feyenoord in the Champions League and after leading 3-0, they drew 3-3. Now they have to focus on the game against Liverpool, but Liverpool showed an extraordinary game against Real Madrid and looked ready for the game against Manchester City this weekend. I am sure Manchester City will play defensively in this game and try to stop Liverpool, otherwise they could see a multi-goal defeat.
