Liverpool have the advantage in this match, they have the squad depth to rotate players effectively and maintain their competitiveness. Manchester City players complained about the number of games they have to play because of the new Champions League format. I think the players are not ready mentally and physically for the busy calendar, it’s no surprise that they are fatigue and are sustaining injuries. I think the number of fixtures should be reduced from next season so the players w can be fit and maintain the quality of the game.
I don't want to believe completely that it's all about Liverpool here, city too has got a good squad and depth except for the fact that a jey player as rodri who is one of their play maker will be absent, Manchester isn't in that very terrible form and this is premier League where they are rated as almost equals, I know I Liverpool is at advantage as the host but I'm a bit optimistic about Manchester City hoping to get a draw if possible because if they loose this, it's going to affect their position on the table and threaten their chances of been in the title race this season for the premiere league.
I am also optimistic that Man City can spring a surprise to kickstart their resurgence of course a lot of soccer analyst and pundits must have written them off based on their dip in form and streak of losses, of course a draw isn't bad for Man City though they might win the match and I don't expect Liverpool to be consistent in all their subsequent matches definitely they are going to drop points against even some mid table teams recall Nothingham Forest broke their unbeaten run so no team is unbearable, however Liverpool should not be overconfident that they had already secured their 3 points.
