My prediction is still the same as yesterday and I still believe Liverpool can win their home game. The temporary score was 1-0 in Liverpool's favor after Cody Gakpo managed to take advantage of his goal opportunity perfectly. The match was tough and currently Manchester City is really under pressure.

The first half was quite hot not wanting to give up each other in the middle of Man City who were under pressure could be an advantage for Arne Slot to make it more aggressive in the second half later. If this will be Man City defeat then Pep Guardiola should tell his staff to slap Pep to wake up immediately. Without a win could threaten Pep career at Man City. Liverpool is clearly not a team that easily gives mercy to its opponents. This match is about high prestige to prove Liverpool's worthiness to win the trophy.

Liverpool is already on the lead and I expected to see more goals but City is alsoon guard as they habe lost so much points recently, which make them very careful of not making much mistakes so that they can have hope of equalizing the goal anf if possible share points with Liverpool.

Liverpool had some good chances but only one was utilized. The second half will tell if Liverpool will score more goals or City will be able to equalize the goal, but I see Liverpool winning this match.
