The same applies to trading on the news, because the news is a way to direct traders in the direction needed by the manipulator, this understanding also comes with time. News can be used as an indicator, you just need to know how to use it in a specific case, it does not always mean exactly what they are trying to show you.

News can be seen as the final push for something to happen, in my opinion.
Just like with bitcoin or XRP price being propelled after the SEC stopped their case against them.
