Your friend's story sounds like your friend is a confident gambler. The way he gives you financial advice is never realistically possible with gambling. no one can ever guarantee winning either for themselves or for others. Your friend also knows how hard it is to earn from gambling and how much he has lost there. An addicted gambler doesn't mind when he loses $500 several times gambling but is very happy when he makes a profit of $200 in one day after losing such an amount. And he forgets that he has another $300 loss. So everyone should do monthly and yearly gambling profit and loss analysis to avoid gambling addiction.
