I agree with your thinking, I don't see any benefit in teaching bitcoin to secondary school students and it even does more harm than good as you say. We need to know that everything needs to be in order and sequence, we cannot force children to learn to run when they cannot even walk yet. That is why education is divided into primary, secondary and tertiary education, we cannot teach university programs to primary school students and vice versa. Likewise, bitcoin is not suitable for elementary/middle school students.
