Both of them are true, nobody expected City to have a full month where they didn't win a single game, it's been 7 or 8 years since that happened I guess, probably more. Also nobody expected Arne Slot to come in and just dominate the league neither, and I do not understand what makes Liverpool this much better, I watch their game and there isn't a specific strategy that makes them better neither.

Like how Pep had his tiki-taka, and how Klopp had gegenpress, and Mourinho had defensive counter attacking, etc etc, everyone has their own strategy. I do not see Arne doing anything special, he doesn't have anything specific like that, the team just... plays better? That's the best I can explain, they are playing a very usual style of football without anything extraordinary, but they play it extraordinarily good and that is how they are dealing with the situation and that's how Liverpool is at the top right now. I suppose we can say what Arne slot does is just get the best out of people.
