Hmm, different chips/boards have different thermal limitations and i don't use L3+.

Based from the above, if it's referring to the chip's temp, it's still in safe range. (up to 90°C)

I’m using an ATX PSU for one of them, yes. So far no issues - that unit has a dead board and is drawing less power anyway.

It's quite a good location to reduce sound, as long as there's no floor below yours.
Areas above will notice very low noise while floors/area below will somewhat hear amplified noise (if there's not enough flooring on the floor above).

I hope the dead board can compensate for using an ATX PSU.
