It requires consistency, you know when you doing something for the first time, you're struggle. But after you doing it for a month, you're fell okay and it's like you doing well. After few months or a year, you can start a life with new routinity and you can completely quit from your addiction.

It's a good thing @OP aware with his addiction, I hope other addicts do aware if they're an addict and choose to change their life.
