No matter how rich I get, I do not think I would be risking throwing away $30 million. I am also sure that the French authorities are making moves after this ridiculous amount of money betted to prevent encouraging their citizens from following in the gambler's footsteps. But I think instead of punishing the platform, the government should focus on how can they 'control' their citizens' gambling habits. Focusing on one platform will not eradicate people who would continue to bet this huge amount of money.

I think everyone gambling site has there deposit and withdrawal limit. If I may ask when the person was depositing such amount of money, Government didn't say anything or may be they don't know about it so why will they carry the news up and down if I was the man I will take the platform to court. Well to cut the whole thing short every individual has something that drives them and they also know their capacity and again some people like taking risk. Before he used such money to gamble it means he is capable of... And I am sure his net worth is something that will be too big to talk about.

In situations like this I believe the casino is more at risk compared to the person, both parties will face the consequences if caught not just the man. It’s necessary if gambling site will start considering limit as banks do seeing the daily rate gambling activity increase talk more of the amount used to gamble. I’m not even against the gambler personally I will never try making any move as such involving a huge amount just for bet, despite being wealthy there’s a level of maturity one needs to possess.

This doesn't sound interesting to me because why would a gambling site that is looking for users to keep using their site restrict a gambler from betting on his favorite games? This is business and I don't think there is any business that would see customers using their platform and would ask them to stop because they noticed that they are making too much money from the platform. Gambling is fun but the problem is that many people misuse it as means of making money by all means. Gambling is not meant to be in that form. We ought to take full responsibility of the way we gamble which is why we need to stick with risk management.
