Dude, it is not always a must to hold for a long term. Not every one who hold all their coins for a long term, some of the coins may be for a short term holding. Each person may have a different strategy, we can't expect everyone to hold for a long term.

By the way, holding for a short term will also gain good profits. But it is probably lower than the profits of the long term holding. If you use a big capital, it is not impossible to gain bigger profits, too. However, you must be professional traders/investors if you want to use a big capital. It is because you must deal with chance or risk of losing big amount of money as well.

Maybe some of us are quick to forgetting that those who trades daily are also important key figures in the community. Is trading bad anyway?, No I don't think so. I would've got myself involved only if I had the knowledge, but that's literally another field entirely that needs dedication and consistency, which I'm not sure if I can allocate quality time for the now, but hopefully maybe sometime in the future. I don't see anything wrong in trading, but I choose not to do it because the knowledge isn't there. Besides, it is easier to hodl than to trade.

And, I wouldn't want to believe that those who trades don't make profits, because I don't think anyone who wants to make profits will get him/herself involved in anything that doesn't yield profits. I think everyone knows what's best for him/herself. I choose Long term because it's more convenient. Besides, not everyone can also participate in the long term, because if everyone holds, and no one refuses to sell, there might be some complications.
