That was the plan before they allowed POGOs to operate in the country, but it came with guidelines that the POGOs were required to follow. Because they violated these guidelines and the impact was significant, the government decided to shut down their operations.

Honestly, the problem might not have escalated so much if the regulators had effectively done their job in monitoring POGO activities. Unfortunately, they failed in that aspect, leading to the situation to worsen and that resulted to mandatory ending their operation.

That's the problem with our country, we have a good law to begin with, but implementation is what we are missing. And then when this POGO was discovered, it's gonna be too late and now everyone is pointing it's fighter as who should be blame for what happen, police? regulators? or the government itself.

But as promised by Bong-bong Marcos in his speech, he will closed those illegal POGO hubs and that is the good part. However, there could be more out there that they need to go. We don't want to see our government and not just "ningas-kugon".

Closing those illegally operating or those who's been used as shelters for illegal activities, as those reports exposed what's happening behind this business, I also agree that after the president declare his campaign against this business the government should continue to chase those gambling house that still exist,

Not being "Ningas kugon" but really seeking to close down those Pogos around, not just those who are link to past administrator, but every existing gambling hubs that continually operating.

You know dude, the government hasn't closed down all the pogos in that country, many still exist to still operate. The powerful and protectors of big government officials
there are still promoting pogo.

The promotion of gambling there on social media platforms is still rampant and influencers and celebrities are popular as their endorsers, in fact. It even seems like the administration is condoning it that it's okay for minors to see it on social media platforms like Facebook.
