There are too many nonsense online out there, poisoning the mind of other people towards Bitcoin and the crazy part is, some people are on this forum right now and they still don't understand a thing about Bitcoin, they are surely here for a reason, I guess that is the gold rush part only, they lack the reasons why Bitcoin is highly valuable today.
There are of course a lot of people who will do silly stuff, and you will learn to not respect everyone. I have never respected anyone too highly to be fair, it's something I lack a lot, I can like someone, even love them, for who they are , but respect is not something I have. I can be nice and kind of course, just because I do not have too high respect, doesn't mean I am going to bully people around, I am a nice person who speaks kindly wherever I am, ethics is still a thing, you can't be cursing around.
However, respect is not that easy, so we need to consider how respecting others is just silly when they didn't do something that is direct response that helped the whole world, I have high threshold, respect is admiration if you ask me, and I do not admire anyone, I like them, different things.
