well that is the game changer there , since he played using crypto as a safer chance to not being caught(at least faster lol)
because if this is about physical funds he might have a second thought of not trying such a way . but what can we do now when he already acted stupid and now will be forever a burden to his life .

But an employee certainly has the right to participate in gambling but if gambling and crypto currency are illegal in that country then he must have committed an offense as a bank official. But if he had used physical money, the bank might not have charged him, since he had used virtual money, of course he had committed a criminal act, for which the court ruled in favor of the bank.
