Agree to that, something that a person creates to avoid losing more than he can afford to lose while in the positive side, knowing when to quit when opportunities gives you that chance winning some decent amounts, it's more on how you deal with situation and how you keep that limitation that you create while experimenting with patterns and strategies based on your personal experienced from your past sessions.
I don't think there's anything complicated about it, if you know that you have $50 for each specific strategy, then there's no point in spending more on it if you've lost your entire deposit. If the strategy could work, then your deposit should have increased, if you've lost it all, then you just need to move on to the next strategy. I don't even know if there's any point in sticking to a strategy that keeps your deposit at the same level for a long time, because it can be compared with wheel slip.
