Indeed, 2024 will be a year to remember for Ademola Lookman. He truly deserved the prestigious CAF prize after delivering a series of stellar performances for both Atalanta and Nigeria. His contributions on the pitch was remarkable. It is satisfying to see that his efforts didn't go unnoticed. Lookman's success to me is not just a personal triumph but also a testament to his dedicaton, and hardwork.
With this achievement, Lookman has become a role model and inspiration for younger talents across Africa.
Him winning the award after much speculations shows that there is still some level of credibility with the awards, and that will motivate other players to work hard for it knowing that there is an equal opportunity to be recognized for the award. Lookman is still doing very well this season, I will hope that he can retain the title again as the best player in Africa for a second time. That will be a strong silencing to the critics and other people who may think he is not worth the award.
Yes, Lookman for the second time if they won't go impartial. I am currently observing, internationally and locally he has been an amazing influence in his club and country. I still don't understand why the Moroccans were upset when he was awarded the prize, Ademola sincerely deserved it and nothing seems to be wrong with the decision.
Some times it is just difficult to accept the truth when it goes against one's nationality.
