I doubted too, I wasn't reallly expecting that Enzo Maresca would have revived the Chelsea's team this quick and to occupy the second spot in the league table, indeed an incredible performance so far at this point in time of the season, I was only hoping if he manages to qualify Chelsea for the champions league next season and not to see such a drastic revival of the Chelsea's squad that everybody almost lost hope during the past two sacked coaches Potter and Pochettino precisely.
Chelsea under the management of Graham Potter, everyone experienced poor stats and he was absolutely not good enough for the team. He couldn't handle the gritty performance of the team rather shown poor communication within the players and the teams stats was dormant in the process. Perhaps he was sacked by Todd Boehly who only welcomes stellar display and rapid improvement. This is a man that have no weak spot for adjustment or patience, always wants the best among the best. Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly have a good thing going on, he wouldn't relent because he set up good structures at Stamford Bridge and watching the epic performance for the club, one could easily noticed the difference in previous season and the current one. Enzo Maresca adapts quickly to the Chelsea pattern and he's doing exceptionally excellent in the team.
The very fast process carried out by Enzo Maresca to make changes in the Chelsea team is surprising because it is actually not an easy job to revive the performance of a team that is slumping and Enzo Maresca has managed to do it well now and I am also sure that this is still the starting point for Chelsea's revival in the Enzo Maresca era because as time goes by there will certainly be better progress made by Enzo Maresca to make the Chelsea team continue to be in a positive trend.
I am not comparing Enzo Maresca with the previous Chelsea coach, of course there are significant differences that are clearly visible but what is certain is that now Chelsea is ready to compete for the title, that is a surprise that was not predicted from the start.
