I doubted too, I wasn't reallly expecting that Enzo Maresca would have revived the Chelsea's team this quick and to occupy the second spot in the league table, indeed an incredible performance so far at this point in time of the season, I was only hoping if he manages to qualify Chelsea for the champions league next season and not to see such a drastic revival of the Chelsea's squad that everybody almost lost hope during the past two sacked coaches Potter and Pochettino precisely.
Enzo Maresca hard work is starting to pay off, he has managed to raise the passion of the players to continue to perform optimally and one of Chelsea strengths under Maresca guidance is managing to maintain a squad filled with players with an average age of only 23.9 years, the energy and flexibility of the players allows them to compete in various competitions. Maresca also managed to bring out the potential of Cole Palmer, he became one of the most shining players and has become an important figure for Chelsea. With their impressive performance, Chelsea chances of continuing to shine are getting bigger.
Palmer has always been the most outstanding player in Chelsea with Maresca or not. I could remember last season, it was only Palmer that took to club to the position that they finished on the table. I believe that if Palmer is not in Chelsea game, they'll be defeated. Maresca is a good coach for him to turn things around for Chelsea within few months of his arrival.
