I came to the conclusion that you need to have multiple sources of income exactly when the COVID pandemic happened. I was fired from my job because the company went bankrupt. It was so hard for me at that time. There was practically no money. I had to borrow from friends and acquaintances, but not everyone gave me money, since it was difficult for them themselves. And what about my government? It simply abandoned me to my fate and did not allocate a single cent to somehow hold out in difficult times. Since then, I have many questions, but this topic is not about that.

Any of us can lose our job, but we shouldn't blame the employer, because the employment contract (if there is one) has a clause that you can be fired at any time.

Your statement only shows you do not know your rights, perhaps you live in a developing or underdeveloped country where rights are nothing to people and companies, and even the government violate the same. This has caused many to believe they are slaves with no single rights, and that can only explain why you think that an employer can fire you anyhow without having a good reason for doing so. Those employers who had good reason to sack employees in some sane countries were still forced to take back some of them or/and pay a huge compensation for such an ignoble act. I wonder what will happen to an unruly employer with no valid reason.
