In sports betting, is there even a thing like luck? I stand to be corrected, but I feel that you will only be more lucky when you are more experienced;
when you have more knowledge of the teams in the match;
when you know the availability of players;
When you know the whether conditions;
When you know their head to head;
When you remove greed;
Someone who doesn't apply the above precautions might continue losing while anyone who applies the above precautions will have high chances of winning. So, I don't see luck factor here. Maybe it exists in rare cases.
Experience has nothing to do with luck, sports betting is mainly a luck game, even though you're very conversant with teams that are playing, that doesn't guarantee that you will win if you eventually add such teams to your betslip, note things can still change in the football field that's why in the game of soccer no one is sure of the outcome until the match ends, you have mentioned things that may determine the outcome of matches no doubt but add all this things together the outcome may go side way that's where the luck itself comes in, though knowing the head to head of teams may help a gambler to make his or her choices if selections but those choices has no assurance backing them up, so in all luck is what makes it happen, many things can change a football match result, things like red card, unexpected injury and match officials, personally I see luck as one of the major factor that decides what happens to a gambler's sports betslip.
