Let's say if my loss equals to L and corresponding recovery time R then at the loss of 2L the recovery time would 4R, at 4L it would be 8R and so on.
It is a nice attempt to quantify a variable of human tendency. Though I have good reasons to believe that time=money but never thought of this perspective. But it could easily be interpreted superficially that you need to wait to gamble again but this is specifically true for games with positive EV.
My biggest loss is round $ 15 K , probably not so huge but it took a few month for me to accept it.
Let me tell you that it is quite normal and perhaps the part of becoming a strong person. $15k though it is a decent amount (relative) but cheap for a life lesson. I know it still might be bothering you but now you know how to avoid and lock wins more efficiently so it is a good deal.
