Honestly Real Madrid always keep their mentality so strong every season in the champions league, but this season has been a tough season for them: imagine Real Madrid that are the one hold the champions league table through out of the season are not able to do well this season, but I think is because of the most of their players that won’t injury right from the beginning of the season that’s why they left behind this season.
And as it stand now, that Liverpool have sit up on the top of table with high points, it will very hard for Real Madrid to get close to them, because currently now Madrid are still managing the 20th place in the position; and that’s why I said I don’t have hope for them
At the beginning of season i thought Real Madrid can easily through an Group Phase without any problem but clearly i was wrong about that because Real Madrid journey in this competition is not run well even they got 2 losing streak from AC Milan and Liverpool but luckily Real Madrid can dramatically to beat Atalanta which this result has just open their chances to qualified but in my opinion Real Madrid possibly will not reach to top 8 so their highest position is top 24 or playoff stages and we have been discuss about this before that for 2 remaining matches Real Madrid schedules is relatively easy because their opponents is only Salzburg and Brest and i am sure Real Madrid can collect 6 points from these teams
