I don't know. Seems like a loss for them since they stand to gain big financial incentives whenever both teams clash in India though I could be wrong. Them succumbing to BCCI and ICC proves that they aren't on an equal plane.

Anyway, I am just glad to see this entire mess getting resolved as expected and am looking forward to both teams clashing in the future.

If India visits Pakistan for the Champions trophy, then at the most the PCB may gain a few million USD in terms of ticket sales and the Pakistani economy may get a slight boost in terms of hotel bookings and others. But that is minuscule when compared to the $34.51 million worth of funds that the PCB will receive every year from the ICC. The main point here is that same rules are applicable for both the BCCI and the PCB. India doesn't need to visit Pakistan, and similarly Pakistan don't need to visit India.

Pakistan  is a poor country and PCB wanted to play Pak India match in the Pakistan but Indian government is against Pakistan and they don't want the progress in Pakistan cricket. All teams toured in Pakistan except India and Indian said that Pakistan is not safe country but they didn't give written message.

Indian team is top class team no doubt but Indian government will not take decisions in the favour of Pakistan. Pakistan didn't want hybrid model but India became successful to make hybrid model. But Pakistan country is small country as comparison to India and Most of the viewers are from India . So ICC is recessive in this case and can't take hard action against India because without Indian team tournament Will be enjoyless.
The issue is now known to almost everyone in the cricket world. But I think it is not the problem of the common people of India or Pakistan but it is the problem of the government. The Indian government does not want Pakistan to improve in cricket. But as far as I know, the common people of India do not support such a policy. There is no logic in involving politics in the game. I think every country needs cricket, especially in the development of cricket. Pakistan was once known as the strongest country in cricket but they are gradually losing their value. Now if pressure is applied on them or any other mechanism is created then I am sure Pakistan will not be able to survive there but even if it is a victory for the Indian government, it is a defeat for cricket.

What we as common people want is hard competition. But I will never support anyone's progress by tactics. I believe the common people of India also want the same. But they have no way to do anything. No one will have the courage to protest against it. I did not say these things for any side of India or Pakistan but for the betterment of cricket. We used to see so many competitive matches in cricket, but now that kind of image is often lost.
