You saw what Putin did with that one Oreshnik missile, and the damage they did to some embassies in Kiev. If Putin was after Ukraine to steal it from the Ukrainians, this war would have been over in two months, and Ukraine would be part of Russia... even if a hot WW3 started because of it. Come on. I see that you are ignoring my point about trump planning to continue supplying military aid to Ukraine? Donald also seem to want Europeans to form stronger armies. And definitely one reason for him wanting this is, that he will benefit from weapon contracts that it would bring. And after that he is definitely incentivized to keep the war going.

I am not even touching all the psychological projection of Zelenskyy, when you need to cope what Donald is.
