Although the target of Adelaide Strikers seemed good at the beginning, Brisbane Heat did not give them that chance. They were able to play well according to the target. There was not much pressure for Brisbane Heat in the last over, they only needed 5 runs in 1 over, which they were able to collect very easily. The match would have been difficult for Brisbane Heat if Matt Renshaw had not been able to score 54 runs in 27 balls. It can be said that he was the reason for the victory in the match.
