Brisbane Heat big win was mainly because of Matt Renshaw fast 54 runs on 27 balls which made their chase easier. Nathan McSweeney steady unbeaten 78 runs was also very important in keeping innings going. Way these two batsmen worked together made big difference and Brisbane Heat was able to win easily. If Adelaide Strikers had gotten Renshaw and McSweeney out earlier result might have been different. But Brisbane Heat played very well and they definitely deserved to win.

In T20 format, it is not the number of runs, but the strike rate that matters. McSweeney made more runs when compared to Matt Renshaw, but in the end Renshaw ended up with a much better strike rate when compared to McSweeney. And that was one of the reasons why Brisbane Heat managed to win the match, at the last ball. Liam Scott did what he can and extended the match up to the very last ball. But the equation was not in his favor. He had the impossible task of defending 5 runs in the last over (he managed to get Xavier Bartlett out, BTW).
