I didn't see this coming, and I was disappointed towards Chelsea's performance yesterday. How will they allow a weak team like Ipswich to get three points easily yesterday. Maresca needs to try and stable the club performance so that they can be consistent. Otherwise, Chelsea might keep going down the table. Two consecutive losses is not a mistake, but a decline in performance.
In the Premier League or in any league, defeat is something that is avoided by big teams because it has the potential to repeat the next defeat in the next match and the problem is actually defeating a much weaker team because it will slightly disrupt the morale of the players. Ipswich is one of the weak teams and they are in a relegation position and should not make Chelsea lose three points when facing a team like this because in terms of quality they are far below Chelsea.
Maresca must understand the culture of competition in the Premier League because if they make a small mistake then they will be punished by a much weaker team. Now Chelsea is in fourth place in the standings and two consecutive defeats against Fulham and Ipswich must be an important lesson for Chelsea, so that in the next match they do not make the same mistake again.
