Bayern Munich this season has a new rival in the trophy competition, in the last decade they usually always compete with Dortmund at the top of the standings. So this season competition is clearly different, this will be a historic season for Leverkusen in defending their first trophy. Bayern Munich ambition to return to Bundesliga dominance will clearly never be easy, apart from the Leverkusen factor, other factors such as player injuries will also determine their fate this season.
Kompany has never experienced winning a trophy, so in this case Xabi Alonso is certainly better and more confident. But the difference in squad depth owned by the two teams will provide many advantages for Kompany. It is difficult to predict which team will finish in first place when the season ends, but what is certain is that Bayern Munich and Leverkusen have a fairly large chance than the other contestants.

This season it is crystal clear that this two will be the contenders against each other yet again
As for experience I think personally that it usually just matters a little bit and most probably when the club is a new one but at a club where the players have experience already and this Bayern Munich or bayer Leverkusen have such caliber of players now.
For me I will predict a Bayern Munich success in this campaign as I think the edge already is something they would use against Bayer Leverkusen who started poorly
