Ok, so the owner of the redeemed coins has confirmed that they did indeed peel the coins themselves.

The other coin in question that was supposedly "swept" is BGC036:

Looks like it was redeemed on December 25th along with 5x other Golden Brass chips.

What is weird, is that according to the address list, this should be the address for BGC036:

Chatting with raghavsood, we think there may have been some key mix-up when assembling the coins.

The person who owns the "swept" coin currently does not have access to it.
Once they do, I will ask them to peel the coin and see what key is underneath.
If I had to guess, the funds are still there... Huh
