I think I agree with you on this, though I don't really buy the idea of gambling for fun but with your narration i believe that those old folks truly gamble for fun, they don't gamble because of what they may likely gain at the end of the gambling stuff but they just play around to just keep themselves occupied mentally and sometimes they make new friends during this activity, i come to understand that gambling depends on indivudual mindset while gambling, Buddy yea I concur to your conclusions as you said that old folks are mainly the set of individuals gambling for fun sake, you're very correct in this.

Exactly the older citizens see casinos as a place to socialize which is why they spend some time there, when we talk about gambling for fun, a large majority of younger people like us hardly gamble for fun without attaching any sentiment of trying to win and make some money from our gambling, but those older people don't chase after the winning anymore and that is why you see them playing games with the little amount so regardless whether it a win or lose, they have enough time to have fun, and from there also they make friends of their age and level which helps them to leave longer.
