No, you really need to understand that anyone that buy and sell for minimal gains are traders, it doesn't necessarily mean the asset you bought, am just telling you one of the characteristics of traders, so don't think that as long as you bought any cryptocurrency, that person is automatically an investor, no that's a wrong understanding on your own part

To some extend I will agree with Futurexxx, aside the crypto mentioned I still consider holding other alt coins as trade because they only follow the market price not the potential so for clarity purpose bitcoin is the main discussion. Holding bitcoin for short term plans is not an investment rather a means to chase after profit nothing much, also it’s not good for an investor to mess up their investment because of profit making meanwhile trade is risky. It’s always a mistake to determine how long an investor should hold before calling it a long term investment and some might follow bitcoin cycle yet it’s still not a good choice like 2-4 probably there’s still more when it comes to long term plan.

I don't want to meddle so much in discussing shitcoins here because that is not what we are supposed to be discussing as such discussion will only serve as distraction to the issue of Bitcoin investing. But to add a little clarification, buying shitcoin is not only risky but also funny and come to add investment and shitcoin in the same sentence is even funnier than anything. When discussing trading or investment, simply remove shitcoins from it because whatever you do with them is simply gambling and nothing less. Reason being that you can lose all your money when you touch shitcoins. Check anyone who is deep into shitcoins, you will discover a collection of several shitcoins whose founders have disappeared and those coins delisted from exchanges. Is this what someone will be willing to experience? Why take such risk when you have Bitcoin you can buy and have some good measure of rest? I just hope that people are learning that even the creators of those shitcoins are collecting people's money and buying Bitcoin and some lavishing them in expensive places.
