I also think the same as you that Bayern Munich is stronger in Bundesliga and more likely to win the domestic league title than winning the UCL title which is very difficult to achieve because the competition this season is very tight maybe Bayern Munich must face Liverpool if they want to win the UCL title because this club is at its best level both in UCL and EPL it seems Liverpool will be the strongest candidate to win the UCL this season than Bayern Munich.
After a very difficult campaign last season, Bayern Munich this season have been very the most consistent team in the German Bundesliga so even if they fail to win the UEFA Champions League but succeeds to win the German Bundesliga, I think they'll count it as a very successful season. Vincent Kompany have done a lot of work in improving this Bayern Munich team but I don't think Bayern Munich with their performances this season can win the UCL. If Bayern Munich happens to meet Liverpool like you suggested, I think the German club won't be able to get a good result against Arne Slot's Liverpool who's unarguably been the best team in Europe this season
