It is quite impossible to happen because small transactions may still be cheaper to transact through banks so banks will still exist and be used, also don't forget the government that will always support banks because that is one way they track the wealth of their citizens.
Discussions about Bitcoin replacing banks have been discussed even before Bitcoin was this big and you see the bigger Bitcoin is, the banks are still there and Bitcoin lovers still use banks to receive their Bitcoin sales to fiat.
