You are right and I agree with you that Op can earn money by working as a social media promoter in this case Op may check the post on the service section and also s/he can contact via Google Research directly. Also, Op may search for projects on freelance sites such as freelancer.com and many more sites like freelancer.com

He better go to fiverr and upwork. I've heard a lot of bad reviews recently about freelancer.com but he can still try it if he want to. Aside from these freelancing platforms, there's a lot of these that he can simply research out as you've said, he can research and use google research as it also lists a lot of regions and the careers that are available in it if he wants to go an extra milestone.
