Gambling as an escape is like they want to run from the fact that they have many things to do but just playing gambling to fills their time. Gambling is just for fun and not because of other reasons so we must playing gambling with having a responsibility so we can prevent the problem that can comes. They don't have to use gambling as an escape especially to runs from what the reality but they must face that and solve the problem. If they can not do that, they will gets more problem that will makes their lives difficult.

Basically, escape is an action where usually someone comes with the aim of venting their emotions and mistakes due to other problems they experience in their lives and when what they choose is gambling then clearly I think it will be too risky and most likely in the end they will actually worsen their life situation. On the other hand, making other activities as an escape is actually normal but the problem is to make sure that you choose an activity that is not risky at all, because I am sure that in that situation they are filled with emotions and anger in themselves while as we know that gambling is prohibited to be done based on emotions. But on the other hand, the problem is that it is indeed not easy to tell or give advice and input to people who are covered in anger in themselves due to the problems they experience in their lives and maybe that is what makes them careless in choosing activities to be used as an escape until in the end it actually causes many other problems instead of solving the previous problem.
