Before this season started, I thought that Dhaka Capitals were one of the favorites to lift the trophy. Look where they are now. For me, they seemed to be one of the well balanced sides. They had explosive batsmen such as Litton Das and Tanzid Hasan, and then some of the most lethal bowlers in the league such as Mustafizur Rahman. But for some reason, things didn't went their way this time. No matter how hard they try now, it is impossible to reach the knockout phase. This season is all but over for them.
Dhaka Capitals had a disappointing performance throughout the session. They lost 6 matches and only won one match so far in Bangladesh's premier league this session and are in the bottom position on the point table out of the tournament. Rangpur Riders are in first position on the point table by winning its seven matches in this session and remain unbeaten so far. I think Rangpur Riders are top because they have Pakistani power hitters Bastman Khushdil Shah and Ifthkar Ahmad in the squad. That's why they didn't lose any match. Khushdil Shah played very aggressively in this session. In the last match, they hit four back to back sixes. Rangpur Riders is my favorite team to win final trophy of this Session.
