Sometimes it's not always our association that's making us not to make much progress financially. Mostimes when I hear people say change your friends if you want to prosper financially or otherwise, it makes me wonder. It could also be that your friends ain't the problem but yourself. Some people naturally have laziness in their blood that they can't do anything. They don't want to engage in any economic activities that will better their live, or they have some bad habits that are eating up their finances, and makes him look like he is not prospering. Whereas his friends are doing well. So at this point should the person also change his or friends or his bad habits? When things don't go very well for us, or people around us, let's not be in a haste to conclude that it's people around them that's keeping us down. We should also examine ourselves, if the faults is coming from us. And make necessary adjustments to to behaviours.
I don't think there is any place in the thread where OP said changing your friends will automatically lead to financial prosperity. He and others who have commented on this discussion are simply exposing how the right company can aid us in achieving our goals and objectives. Of course, if you don't apply other positive habits, having the best friends will not lead to financial prosperity. But a good friend can give good financial advice or might even support you both morally and financially in business or career.
