If you say that Manchester united are slowly trying to get back then I will agree with you, but however they played against a team that is at the bottom of the table, we all expected a win that would be so easy, Southampton has been on losing spree so someone could easily predict the outcome, nevertheless that wasn't the outcome as Southampton took an early lead that would have made them go home with the 3 points, even at some point I nearly lost hope that Manchester united will come back into the game not until they eventually did, That's why they usually say that "in football is never really over until it's over", a minute can make tremendous changes and that was the Hallmark of that game last night.
Manchester United win wasn't something that they will be feeling very excited. If they had lost against the weakest team Southampton then they must be cursing themselves for that performance. Recently Brentford scored five goals against them, Manchester United only scored 3. Infact Manuel Ugarte did an own goal and at one time Man. United were losing 0-1. Infact till the 80 minutes of the game, Man United were losing by one goal.
However, credit should be given to Amad Diallo as he scored thrice right at the end in this match and the scorecard looks good for Manchester United. I would still say they will have a hard time playing better teams.
