trump also apparently has officially welcomed his memecoin in his website according to bbc news it did seem inevitable though i just thought that it would be his sons to launch a memecoin and not him anyway i do not think this is a threat to bitcoin he will never use this coin as the national reserve because even if it is his own coin, it is still less secure and a lot more volatile than bitcoin now

Thanks for that information that he indeed embraced the memecoin but I agree with you that it is unlikely to pose a threat to Bitcoin. It remains less secure and more volatile compared to Bitcoin. It doesn’t seem like a serious contender against Bitcoin. Memecoins are riskier compared to more established cryptocurrencies. It’s more of a branding or marketing play than a true technological advancement. Even though Trump’s involvement brings attention, the real value will always be in Bitcoin’s security and decentralisation.
