I do not really understand this. I mean what you meant as what will not work for the OP? Xal0lex corrected Alone055 and not about this discussion.
I believe  you're  are talking about an old report, so with the 30 days range you won't still get to see the particular  report.. even if you already have yours enabled( the feature Xal0lex mentioned) which i know it should hold true for you Smiley.
Only administration can say why this number. But, it is certainly to avoid abuse, and so that only those who make good reports have access to this extra information.
I think that before we reach 300 reports, it would be interesting to understand why some are considered "bad" reports. But, we only know that x were good and x were bad.
Okay... makes sense but  how can it be abused?? I mean it's just viewing report history right... I'm not against the way it's currently implented  actually, since it keeps the forum in it shape, I'm just a little bit inquisitive, nothing more Smiley.

I just wonder if it wouldn't be interesting, even for the forum's resources, to eliminate posts or topics that only have "." after editing by the author. But that is another matter.
That is more like deleting a post.. tried testing, you can't delete a topic but you can delete other posts and i think the only reason an author will edit a topic to "." Is because he can't delete it , so it's probably going to report it  or still get reported anyways but it's still not bad to have it because with the report option it get recorded as " deleted by moderator" .
