As we can see, you've sent the funds as a contract transfer instead of an ordinary transfer. Please note that we do not process such transactions, and there is no way for us to credit or refund your coins so far.

There is no technical reason why they couldn’t process your transaction. If they are capable of recovering ETH sent to a BSC deposit address then surely they can recover ETH from a Base address. Their terms are very arbitrary and demonstrate why they are so untrustworthy.

It's a practice that a lot of exchanges and swap services follow - bank on the lack of general/technical understanding of the user and tell them "oh because it was this kind of transfer" or "oh because you sent to another network" that they can't recover it.

Changelly has always been a con though, not sure how on earth they're still around and also not sure why OP chose to use them (whether it was through swapzone or not).
