I believe not all newbies are that naive to fall that cheap for scams, there are some newbies I believe to be wise and smart enough to decipher scams when they see such. It does not mean that crypto newbies are new to the system, some of them might have had the experience and would be very cautious whenever they encounter a strange activity online because of their experience in the past with internet engagements before they got to know about crypto although some are total novice and they are the ones prone to scammers and as such would need more guidance to not be vulnerable to scams.

You're right with that. Not all of them are going to fall for such scam on telegram channels.

But just think of it that the majority of them are likely to fall and have zero idea what's about to come if ever they entertain these scammers pretending to be admins and mods of such channels.

There is no way to stop them but upon encountering one of them, it's best to block them and leave that channel anyway. With this reason, I am not that active anymore with telegram.

Yes, you are correct this is why I keep advising the newbies to do well to always check for mutual groups of any account that PMs them claiming to be admin or mod because that is the only way they could be able to differentiate the real account from the fake because, upon such verification, they could tell who is who and also tag the account in the group and also report and block them so they do not bother them anymore. By doing so, their safety is guaranteed to some extent and the rest is left for them to tread with caution.
