Actually, to talk about the obligation to work on holidays, first of all we have to understand the type of work. There are some public jobs that people have to consider. Since the people will take precedence first there one has to sacrifice one's interests or the employees have to sacrifice their interests, such as defense workers. And if it comes to private jobs then it would not be right to impose the obligation to work on holidays. However, if the employer wants to get the work done then there must be a financial incentive. So that the employees are willing to work on holidays on their own.

Absolutely true words. The prize is that I think the best type of vacation would be simple work that is paid double, while workers have the right to choose whether they want to work or can stay home if they really want to rest and be with their family. In this way, those who need money can get it for their work, and those who do not really need it can rest. Because we are all very tired during the year, and everyone has their own recovery period after a year of work. For example, on the 2nd I already felt that I had managed to completely reboot)
See, working on holidays or vacations is an unpleasant event for everyone. But every person in the world needs money or money is a big motivation for almost every person in the world, so if you want to get work done in this unpleasant situation, you must spend that amount of money which we can call as opportunity cost. Again people really need some quiet time to boost their body and mind, especially those who work outside. So taking all those things into consideration you can request the employees to get work done, but of course there is no chance of forcing them, in that case every office head has to be a little strategic then it will be easy to get the work done.
Totally unpleasant specially if a certain holiday or even into events like birthdays or even on anniversaries on which you cant be able to have that kind of dayoff but since we are talking about legal holidays then usually government agencies doesnt really have that work on which this is really that part of their contract and thats really that good for its employee since its been paid but there were exemptions that you can be able to have duty but there are some mandatory but at least it is really that double pay. For private companies or businesses then as an employee then you wont really be having any option to deny or would refuse to have work because once that they've said that you do need to work then there's no way that you can be able to say no. If you are living on having a financial state on playing around being poor or average ones then you will be thankful about these holiday seasons since this will be able to make you earn even more and this is something that the reality that we are facing into.  Working on holidays does really sucks if you are someone who doesnt really like money or additional pay on which we know that there are people who do love to spend up their time into their family.  There are really people who do end up on having no choice but to deal up into the current situation that they are in and since finding up a job is never been easy then they wont really be having any choice or option but to work since they do need to earn money specially if you are a family guy or husband then you will be needing up to have such priority when it comes to earning.
It is unbeatable truth that many times when companies ask employees to work during holidays in exchange for double pay, the employees do not have the opportunity to say no. This happens especially in densely populated countries or populated areas. Again if the employees refuse to do all these tasks, it can be done through an open contractual circular. In this way those who are unemployed but educated and skilled will have some employment opportunities. Besides those who want to spend time with their families will be able to spend that time peacefully during the holidays. Again, those who work in that department but have a high demand for money can get a work contract through that open appointment letter and they can be given priority for that work. Then I think this problem can be solved.
