Basically being idle doesn't guarantee one's success or achievement very correct but mind you it's not the greatest problem to economic growth or prosperity, there are so many factors that has limited an economic growth but not necessarily being inactive cause from a wide range of knowledge there's no country that's being idle or inactive in one way or the other, they all are striving to make their country better so I think when you talk about idleness you should be channelling it to personal self, cause most individuals find themselves in this state making them unable to catch up with alot of task and responsibilities.

The hardest thing anyone can be is idle and lazy at same time because it takes a lot to be lazy and that leads often to idleness.
Although it may not be a well thought out decision to be idle, but when a person has hobbies it could complete the string of busy schedules to add up to become productive because there would be goals that are attached to making the excitement from such hobbies become pleasurable.
An idle mind certainly does more to accommodate insane and obscene thoughts and as such, everyone must try to keep busy at something they love, irrespective of the need for rest so as to meet up to responsibility demands and be a proud function of a working society.
