is this not common sense? the rich does not represent a country's economy if it is only a small percentage of the country rather if the majority is in poverty then that is the representation of the economic state of a country
we can say that the economy is bad if due to poverty and rise of prices no one wants to be spending anymore which is why until now countries are looking for ways to combat poverty and uplift the entire country
Economy of any particular country is not determine by the poor or rich individual rather circulating factor is what drive it,what thrives economic is when money is in circulation so as such government should been able implement policies that will foster the rate at which money is circulating,If money reaches everybody irrespective of your social class in the society,i think it can help to revive economy.when there's buy and sell of goods and services in a particular place the economic experience rapid growth.At this point,we should do away with the idea of saving of depositing money in bank because it doesn't help.
