As of today, I have formally submitted a complaint to the ESBK (Eidgenössische Spielbankenkommission) regarding the situation with Stake.com and its operations in restricted countries, territories, and for prohibited players. This follows an email exchange with Stake in which they referred to their Terms of Service. Depending on the ESBK’s response, I intend to pursue legal action and potentially file criminal charges against the owners/operators of Stake.com.

Reminder: Offshore casinos like Stake.com have little regard for the gambling regulations in your specific country. In many cases, they may still accept your registration and deposits, even verifying your account to create the illusion of legality. This tactic can mislead players into thinking the platform is operating lawfully while essentially robbing them of their money. These platforms are banned in many parts of the world for a reason—protect yourself and stay informed.

Attention: If you’ve had issues with Stake.com, particularly as a Swiss player or while playing from Switzerland or any other territory, please send me a message. I am gathering information from affected players to strengthen the civil lawsuit against Stake.com. Every bit of evidence helps in holding them accountable.

To the players defending the casinos: please respond with logical and straightforward answers to posts, rather than letting ego or personal bias cloud the discussion. Some users seem intent on muting those who criticize casinos for their shady practices instead of engaging in meaningful dialogue. If you want to participate, do so respectfully and appropriately—try, for a moment, to put yourself in the shoes of the victims. By taking this approach, I’m confident we could eliminate around 50% of the unnecessary comments and posts in these discussions.

To anyone responsible for marketing at Stake: I sincerely hope you are monitoring these forums, as this is the start of what could be the downfall of your casino. Maybe not for all players, but certainly for those in Switzerland. I also hope the regulatory bodies in Switzerland hold you fully accountable and impose significant penalties for the damage you’ve caused. This includes the harmful influence of your social media ads and partnerships with rappers and streamers actively promoting your shady platform. It’s time to understand the impact of what you’ve done to players harmed by your practices.

Furthermore, I hope that by speaking up and sharing my experience, I can encourage other players to come forward as well. Together, we can ensure that offshore casinos like Stake.com cannot run away from their obligations or hide under the loose and inadequate regulations of jurisdictions like Curaçao, Malta, or Gibraltar. The more voices we gather, the harder it becomes for these platforms to avoid accountability for their actions.
