Let's say he becomes captain and starts playing every test match. Mind you, we play close to 19-20 tests in 2 years It includes home season, IPL and 1 ICC tournament every year. That's a heavy workload for him and one of the reasons BCCI rests him in almost every whiteball bilateral series.

Right, I didn't give thought about the workload management but lately he is being part of every match especially since his comeback from every match, isn't it? On that basis Pant seems to be the automatic choice for being captain and his test performance has always been great so when the captain performance it always pushes the players to perform well too.

Yeah, he played a full home (5 tests) season and then went to play 5 tests on the trot in Australia and what happened after?

In the last test match, His body gave up due to back spasm, As a result, he couldn't bowl in the 4th inning. He's still recovering, hope he gets better before the Champions Trophy kicks in. Otherwise, we are kinda fucked.

Surely, you would have not thought about it. But, If someone important like me will you be able to ignore or are someone not from the shore? Tell me fast as I lost a positive remark which now makes me question. For me, he was someone I was supposed to look up whereas now I am sure he should be ditched. I do not like anyone thinking about me as a coward, I have been there before and I am here for the community. But, for me, it is an end of him!
