I think the rate not changing has been priced in for a long time - at least since the hawkish language used by Powell a few weeks ago in the "The Fed cannot hold bitcoin" occasion. It must be a matter of dovish/hawkish stance in his speech today, which I haven't heard about yet.

I did catch a good piece of news, but for me it is unconfirmed yet. Besides, the stop to QT isn't happening today. It will take a little more. We'll see when, but there is little doubt they will have to ease, either by brrrr or in more roundabout ways, if they want the commercial war (USA vs World) not to end in tears.
