Emotional control is one of the biggest problem in trading. Most especially when you are on a lossing trade. So the best way to control your emotion is proper risk management, ensure before you enter a trade you are willing to accept the risk. Either a loss or a win. Because loses is inevitable in trading. Also to work more on your emotional control during trading I recommend you read trading in the zone by Mark Douglas. Also there is no holy gram strategy is trading just stick to the strategy that suit your psychology. just find what works for you.

Another name for trading should be risk money. This is for you if you have a tolerable level of liquid cash flow. You should not dive into trading with a sick economy. You mentioned emotions, it is a matter of controlling emotions. Trading can be combined with finding a match with the process of losing guaranteed capital. You need to gain more experience by working with psychology and losing money through it. Long term considerations which are fairly guaranteed may be fair compared to short term trading.
